CM7 Status

Note: CM7 is Android 2.3.7.  You may prefer CM9 which is Android 4.0.4.

Download CM7 .zip and gapps-gb zip and put in /sdcard

Broken

• MMS may be unreliable
• Cannot update PRL, Profile or do Sprint Hands Free Activation - use this workaround for now.
• Sometimes 3g will not work after switching off wifi, though it displays that it is connected. Toggle Airplane mode to make it reconnect.

To Install:

First time flashing CM 7 to your Epic (or coming from another ROM)?

1. Unlock/root your device and install Clockwork Recovery
2. Do a Nandroid backup!
3. WIPE
4. Install the ROM
5. Optionally install the Google Apps

 Upgrading from earlier CM7 or nightly build?

1. Do a Nandroid Backup!
2. Install the ROM
3. Re-flash the Google apps
