CM9 alpha2 for Epic 4G released

The Epic CM team is proud to announce the release of CM9 alpha2 for Sprint's Samsung Epic 4G.  The most notable improvements include:
  • Improved sound quality and less distortion in phone calls.
  • Some Bluetooth improvements.
  • You no longer need to reflash gapps after every CM9 upgrade.
  • Minor improvements in battery life.
  • Less buggy video recording.

  1. Is there no voicemail app included? I can go without the google voicemail. And I cant get rid of the voicemail symbol on the top bar of the scree.

  2. No, there is no voicemail app. Google voice is what I use, but if you prefer not to use it there are a couple of voicemail apps in the marketplace. Take a look at YouMail, I have heard good things about it but have never tried it myself. Maybe there might be a way to get the Sprint_VMM apk to work from the Nexus 4G? I don't know. The devs will know better than I will.
